DOOG – Dog Owners Outdoor Gear

The Sticks

Safer than a real stick and a whole lot more fun! The DOOG Stick family are made from recycled materials, float in water and have glow in the dark eyes for the late night trips to the dog park. Best of all they are SPLINTER FREE meaning your dog won’t get mouth injuries and chipped teeth like they would fetching a real stick. Each stick comes with a built in hand grip and rope for flinging.
Collect the whole family!

NOTE: The Sticks are not a chew toy, please do not leave your dog alone to chew his stick and use him or her for fetching only.

Spot’s verdict

Welcome to my first product review! My name is Spot and I will be providing you with some feedback and reviews on pet related products on the market to help you decide which products your pets might like. I know what you are thinking, tough job I know, but someone has to do it J
This week I had a ball testing out the DOOG Stick family. I have spent many hours at the dog park, beach and down by the lake fetching the sticks to test this out for you. The great part was I didn’t even have to stop once it got dark as the sticks eyes would glow and I could still see where the stick landed.
There are quite a few characters to collect; Willow, who is crazily keen and best bud material, Elwood who is just plain awesome, Barkley who is cute and courageous, Twiggy and Woody who are two fun loving pals, but my favourite would have to be Uncle Chuck who is completely crabby and most suitable for large dogs like me.
We had so much fun swimming together, running along the sand and hiding in between the trees. I never ran out of energy and my loving family didn’t get tired or slobbery either as the stick has a hand grip and rope.
If you want to check out the range yourself head on over to the DOOG website

Let's get away......
We all love getting away from the rat race to enjoy some quality time with our family and friends and I am sure our fur friends feel exactly the same way. A walk along the beach or feeling the sea breeze in your hair, it's the perfect way to relax and recharge our batteries.

Sunday 14 April 2013

As a dog lover, and I am sure anyone, whether you love dogs or not would find this recent article in the press very disturbing. A husband throws his wife out of his house after he was caught cheating, tries to plant drugs on her whilst calling the police to arrest her and to top that off he arranges to have her beloved dogs put down. Let's hope justice is served.

A member of the family

Dogs have been known to provide many benefits to us humans - health, emotional, companionship and provide us with a less stressful life in general. They keep us active, provide comfort when we are feeling down and overall keep the family happier!
As a member of the family we often don't think about taking our dogs with us on our holidays when in fact this is a time when they would feel most loved. We have more time for them and we are more relaxed and carefree.
Have you thought about where your next holiday will be with the WHOLE family??
